This manual is published in compliance with Section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (Act No. 2 of 2000) ("PAIA"). It explains how to request access to information held by Orbio CRM.

4. How to Submit a PAIA Request

You have the right to request access to any record we hold, subject to the exclusions in PAIA.

Step 1: Submit Your Request

Send a written request to paia@orbio.co.za including:

We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days.

Step 3: Decision

We will respond with a decision within 30 calendar days (extendable to 90 days for complex requests).

Step 4: Access Granted

If granted, we will provide access in your preferred form. You may be required to collect copies in person or receive them electronically.

Fees are payable in advance. Fee waivers may apply if you demonstrate inability to pay.

5A. POPIA Compliance & Data Subject Requests

In addition to PAIA requests, data subjects may exercise their rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) through the following channels:

POPIA requests are processed within 30 calendar days (extendable to 60 days for complex requests). Requests may be made in writing or through the platform's DSAR module.

If your request is refused or you are dissatisfied with the response, you may lodge an internal appeal within 30 business days of receiving the decision.
